Steady Shot started as a student project at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, created by a Type 1 diabetic familiar with the challenges of multiple daily injections (MDI). Developed to improve injection site rotation, it offers stability and ease, helping users access new sites and improve their injection experience.

Rotating injection sites is essential for effective diabetes management. Using the same site too often can cause bruising, pain, and tissue damage. Switching to new areas allows healing and prevents inconsistent insulin absorption, which can lead to difficulty controlling blood sugar levels. Regular site rotation promotes better diabetes management and more consistent insulin absorption.

How did we get our start?

Founded by a Type 1 diabetic who experienced bruising from overusing easy-to-reach sites, Steady Shot was created to improve site rotation, leading him to launch the company for others with similar challenges.
